Admission Requirements: Cookeville Cosmetology students are at least 16 years of age and are high school graduates or hold a GED certificate.

Programs we offer at Cookeville Cosmetology School:

Cosmetology Program: Our Cosmetology is a 1500 Hour Course. In our Cosmetology Program we not only teach you the Basics, but we also teach you New Techniques as we are always keeping up with the latest in the Beauty Industry. We use hands-on teaching approach because we Believe the best way to learn is by doing! We teach all hair coloring techniques, All styles of Permanent Waving, All phases of Hair cutting and styling of every texture, Shampooing and scalp massage, Hair Extensions, Skincare, Waxing, Pedicures, Manicures, Lash Extensions, Makeup Application, Chemical Hair Straightening, braiding, Salon Business, Sanitation, Marketing and State laws. We prepare you to take the State Board of Cosmetology Test.

Esthetics Program: Our Esthetics Program is 750 Hour Course. Our Esthetics Program at Cookeville Cosmetology School instructs the fundamentals of facial, skincare, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, makeup and application, brow tint and lift, lash tint and lift. Lashes, Waxing, Spa body treatments, equipment operation, sanitation and safety skin treatments and infection control. The physiology of the skin. State Laws and regulations, Marketing and Business and prepares you to take the State Board of Cosmetology Test.

Nail Technology Program: Our Nail Technology Program is  600 Hour course. Our Nail Technology Program at Cookeville Cosmetology School will give you the skills to showcase your creativity while developing a full understanding of all the services you can offer as a nail specialist. Our Nail Technology program thoroughly covers all fundamentals of Nail Technology including: Pedicures, Manicures, Acrylic and Gel Nails Tips with overlays, Nail Art and Design, Sanitation, Marketing and Business, State Laws and regulation and prepares you to take the State Board of Comestology Board test. 

Lash Specialist Program: Our Lash Specialist Program requires 300 hours. This course is a comprehensive and innovative hybrid training course designed for aspiring Lash Extension Specialists. the program covers sanitation and safety, Lash Theory, Application Techniques, tools to build 
Students digital portfolios, essential professional development practices, Sanitation, State laws and regulations, Marketing and Business and prepares you to take the State Board of Cosmetology Test. Students wear Black Scrubs and Tennis Shoes. 

Instructor Training:

Instructor Training requires 300 hours. Our Instructor Program uses various methodologies to teach instructors how to facilitate theory and practical lessons, along with the necessary skill sets to evaluate student performance with proper coaching and feedback, and to prepare students for their state board examination. As an instructor and a professional, you'll be responsible for shaping the future of the beauty world and guiding emerging artists. Our areas of emphasis include how to teach theory, evaluate student performance and examinations, prepare students to pass licensure state board examinations.

All of the services provided here at Cookeville Cosmetology School will be overseen and final results will be approved by our Instructors.
